Daniel Trujillo Ph.D., MS RECM, LEED AP BD+C, is a faculty member in the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver. Daniel’s teaching and research are at the intersection of Real Estate, Construction, and Property Development. He is a champion of Corporate Real Estate developing and teaching one of the country’s only dedicated Corporate Real Estate classes in an Undergraduate and Graduate Real Estate program. He has researched decision processes in innovative project delivery and technologies, sustainable real estate, sustainable development, and integrating sustainability practically into the built environment curriculum. His teaching includes Legal Issues in the Built Environment, Corporate Real Estate, Sustainable Development, Commercial Construction Project Management, and other related topics. He serves on the Board of CoreNet’s Colorado Chapter and is a LEED Accredited Professional with emphasis in Building Design and Construction, LEED AP BD+C. Daniel is highly engaged with his students including coaching them in regional and international competitions, sponsoring innovative independent research, and providing mentorship and career advice.
