Frederick W. Prassas is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the B.S. in Real Estate Property Management at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, where he also directs the Weidner Center for Property Management. A Certified Property Manager (CPM) and licensed Wisconsin Real Estate Broker, he brings more than three decades of experience in multifamily management, consulting, and education.

Professor Prassas has served in numerous national and international leadership roles, including President of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Director for both IREM and the National Association of REALTORS®. He has authored and reviewed key industry texts, including Investment Real Estate: Finance and Asset Management and Principles of Real Estate Management.

Recognized with multiple professional honors—including the National Association of REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award and the Louise L. and Y.T. Lum Award—he continues to advance ethical standards, education, and professional development in real estate management worldwide.
