Around the world, real estate constitutes approximately one third of all capital assets. An understanding of how real estate properties are conceptualized, designed, and built is essential to making intelligent decisions to finance, manage, sell or buy real estate assets in Dubai and globally.
This course prepares participants in the real estate profession to become development entrepreneurs with knowledgeable leadership (Project Management) skills.
Course Objectives:
1. To provide the basic (key or important) concepts and practices of the real estate industry.
2. To introduce the principles of real estate finance and investment analysis.
3. To enable students to develop a critical understanding of the participants, parameters, techniques, and processes involved in property development.
4. To facilitate the development of knowledge and critical analytical capacity in relation to the investment analysis, valuation, and appraisal of property development projects.
5. Develop an objective understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of both an Agile and traditional plan-driven approach to project management and how they can be combined in the right proportions to fit any given situation in an integrated approach to Agile Project Management.
6. Learn what's fundamentally different about Agile Project Management and the shifts in thinking that project managers might need to make to operate successfully in an Agile environment
7. Better understand the impact of Agile on the project management profession, the new challenges that Agile creates for project managers, and the potential roles that an Agile Project Manager can play
